The OmniShred from Intimus International is a versatile solution for data destruction. The commercial grade, continuous-duty units feature a rugged cutting head, powerful motor and chain drive system to handle up to 33 sheets of paper per pass, as well as other multimedia devices like CDs, DVDs, thumb drives, credit cards, ID badges and even small plastic bottles. The dual feed system includes a 12-inch paper feed slot on the front of the unit and a 9.75- by 5-inch sliding door on top of the unit for crumpled paper and multimedia devices.
The clear window in the top feed opening allows users to view the destruction process. All materials are destroyed to a final waste particle size of 3.6 by 43 mm. An automatic oiler keeps the cutting head lubricated for peak performance. All waste is collected in a 30-gallon bin to minimize the need for bag changes. Operates on standard 120V 20A power and is mounted on casters for easy relocation.
